Simple Support For A Cough

You will need:
1 large red onion
Sprigs of fresh thyme
Runny honey
One jar with lid ( ensure it’s clean and sterilised)

Then simply…
Chop the onion.
Lightly bruise the thyme with the back of a spoon.
Place in the jar and cover with runny honey.
Leave to infuse for at least 24 hours or up to one week.
Strain through a sieve and return to jar.
Store in the fridge until needed.
One teaspoon three times a day (more often if cough persists) until better.

Replace the red onion for 4 cloves of garlic for sore throat – exactly the same method.
